AAROGYA SETU APP – IS IT SECURE AND BENEFICIAL FOR INDIAN

The Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that we are prepared well to face the challenges and give awareness to Indian people from actual infected patients of Corona. Infact in the social media a lot of messages got viral with wrong information about Corona and corona patients. The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Virus locally is to empower the citizens with the right information and taking remedial precautions according to advisories released by Indian Government and Health Ministry.

In the lieu of this, the Government of India had launched a mobile app called AAROGYA SETU which has been developed in public-private partnership to bring the Indian people together against fight for COVID 19. It is available in 11 languages. It joins Digital India for the health and safety of each and every people of Indian resident. It was designed to help people to assess Corona infected people around you. The App‘s design ensures privacy of Indian and Indian datas and it helps Government to learn about Corona infected people and to take necessary steps timely for assessing risk of spread of Covid 19 infection and arrange isolation wherever it is required.

The arogya setu is good and after its launch, millions Indian had downloaded it. But people are still confused and does not have good awareness about this app.  They are not sure and always raises question about the security of their data which this app captures. People afraid about safety of their data and afraid about misuse of their datas or may go in public. To get ease, Indian government and Health Ministry issued several statement stating that no personal information of any people will be stolen or misuse. There is no risk about it.  Arogya Setu also confirmed and issued statement about its safety and confidentiality.

It was launched in March and it was made mandatory for all public and private sector employees by Central & State Government. Strictly everyone in containment zone must had to download the app and it has been targeted now to cover almost 300 million people.
