Launch of new DGFT platform and to deliver digital IEC and related services

Under Digital India programme and to give ease for doing business, DGFT has taken an initiative to upgrade its services delivery mechanisms to enhance the facilities of foreign trade. To move a step in the way, a new digital platform of DGFT have Gone in Live on 13th July, 2020.

- The digital programe will become assessable through their existing portal https://dgft.gov.in/CP/

- Access to be services would be through a valid username and password based portal. The first time logins/user id may be created by a registration process on the new portal.

- For user ID creation, registered mobile number / email ids of the IEC holders will be a mandatory requirement. The same will be authenticated by the process of OTP / email based authentication process.

- Users would have to link their login IDs to their specific IECs. The process of linking would be available post login through Digital Signature / Aadhaar based e-sign process.

- Users may take necessary actions for procuring / updating their information on the DSC / Aadhaar. Digital Signature (DSC) / Aadhaar based e-sign will be required for applying and modifying IEC or adding or updating the IEC linked users.

The existing data will be used for the online processing of the previous application henceforth. The users will be able to monitor the status of their applications and the pending obligations thereof. Such several features will give benefit to the trade community.

Users should familiarize themselves about the new platform and its features which will give ease to users to get IEC and sort out IEC related issues. Initially, the website will be available for IEC issuance, modification, amendments etc. Other online modules relating to Advance Authorisation, EPCG, and Exports Obligation and Discharge of EPCGs that will come in processing in the next step. https://dgft.gov.in/CP/
