SUBMISSION OF EXPORT DOCUMENTS TO BUYER / BUYER'S BANK
It is obligatory to submit the original documents to buyer / buyer's bank within 21 days after export. We can send these documents to buyer directly in special case if we are an Export House status holder from Government of India.
Alternatively, we can submit these original documents to the buyer's bank within stipulated time period of 21 days for payment against export. These documents can be drawn under Collection / Purchase / Negotiation under L/C terms which is the case applicable.
Documents required to send are -
- Bill of Exchange
- Letter of credit (if it is applicable)
- Original invoice - 3 copies
- Original packing list - 3 copies
- Original full set of Bill of Lading or Airway bill
- Certificate of Origin (GSP) or REX Certificate
- Inspection Certificate, if any
- Any other documents, if required in the L/C
Buyer will release the payment and collect the documents from their bank. In case of any credit period on the shipment, then buyer will give their consent for payment on due date to their bank. On due date, supplier will get the payment to their bank.
